DO ALL YOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS SHOOT IN THE SAME STYLE?
Yes, absolutely! In order to guarantee that every couple receives a cohesive result from you have seen on our site, all the photographers at Apollo Fotografie use the same techniques, cameras, lenses, camera settings, & poses at every event. We employ a lot of natural light in our work which gives your finished set of photos an organic and fine art feeling. The end result will be a mixture of crafted imagery with journalistic embellishments. For the portraits, we will guide you into incredible natural lighting with natural poses that create balanced compositions.
DO YOU HAVE A SAMPLE TIMELINE WE CAN TAKE A LOOK AT?

I NOTICED SOME GALLERIES LOOK DARKER THAN OTHERS AND SOME LOOK BRIGHTER, IS THIS BECAUSE OF A CERTAIN PHOTOGRAPHER?
This is a common misconception! All of the photographers shoot in the same exact style, so the differences you are seeing in the brightness, contrast, and exposure of the images are subtle tweaks that have been made during the editing process. If you prefer your photos to a certain tone, please let us know we would be happy to accommodate the best we can during the editing process! 🙂
WE LOVE WHAT WE HAVE SEEN SO FAR, DO YOU HAVE COMPLETE CLIENT GALLERIES FOR US TO LOOK THROUGH?

WE ALREADY HAD AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION, CAN WE SUBSTITUTE THAT FOR SOMETHING ELSE?
The one substitution we offer as far as removing items from collections is the engagement session. If you aren’t interested in an engagement session, you can substitute that session time for extra time on your wedding day. You may also take a $150 printing credit on your proposal instead.
WHAT FORMAT DO YOU DELIVER THE EDITED PHOTOGRAPHS IN?
You will receive your edited photos as high-resolution jpgs exported at 300 DPI. There are no watermarks or anything silly like that. Before delivery, they are exported for file size, but not for the quality of the image using JPEGMINI (https://www.jpegmini.com/).
WHAT TIME SHOULD WE START OUR COVERAGE?
If you are doing a first look, arriving anywhere between 3-4 hours before the ceremony start time is a good idea. If you are NOT doing a first look, 90-120 minutes before the ceremony is perfect.
DO WE GET A DISCOUNT IF WE BOOK BOTH PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY WITH YOU?
We are constantly changing up the types of promotions that are available depending on the time of year so please make sure to schedule a chit-chat with us HERE so we can review the most current ones with you over the phone.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We have a complimentary ACH bank transfer for all payments through Apollo Fotografie. We can also accept credit cards, however it does incur a 3% credit card service fee… don’t blame us, they make us pay them!
WE WOULD LIKE LIV OR ANDRA TO PERSONALLY PHOTOGRAPH OUR WEDDING, HOW DO WE WORK WITH THEM
Andra & Liv both photograph the Presidio Collection from the photo pricing guide. For all other events, their associate shooters who have been trained extensively in their style photograph in their place based on Collection choice & their availability. They use the same cameras, same lenses, & the same technique/approach on the wedding to ensure the style is consistent with what you have seen. Liv also hand-edits each wedding at Apollo Fotografie to each wedding a final magical touch.
WHO PHOTOGRAPHED THE SAMPLE GALLERIES I SAW ON THE WEBSITE & THE PHOTOS ON INSTAGRAM?
The sample images you have seen throughout the website & in the extended galleries we sent out before your consultation were photographed by all of the photographers on the team. Because everyone shoots in the same style & technique & uses the same gear, we can ensure there is consistency between each wedding we photograph collectively. This also ensures if you have two photographers at your wedding, they are shooting in the same style to give you a cohesive collection throughout the day.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE & CANCELLATION POLICY?
It is a 50% retainer to save the date & additional retainers are due as we get closer to your event date. If for some reason you need to cancel your wedding, you will lose any retainers you have already paid, but you will be absolved from future payments.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
Most couples book our photography services 12-15 months before their wedding date to guarantee a spot in our calendar. For videography, generally, 6-9 months prior to the wedding day is ideal.
WHAT IS YOUR PRICING FOR PRINTS, ALBUMS, CANVASES, ETC?

WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS? DO WE HAVE A HOLD ON OUR DATE?
After our first chit-chat together – you have a 7-day soft hold on your date in our calendar & that will also lock you into the current pricing structure & collection structure. After that, we open the date to any other interested couples & you may be subject to any pricing fluctuations that have happened in the meantime. If all looks good in the proposal, within the next 7 days you will be able to go into the service agreement to sign it, & submit your 50% retainer to lock it all down officially with Apollo Fotografie…. Woohoo!
AFTER THE PICTURES ARE TAKEN, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THEM BACK?
For our standard turnaround, you will receive your proofs within 30 business & full collection within 90 business days. Films & albums are delivered at 180 business days. You may also purchase rush services to expedite the process (depending on availability).
ARE WE THE ONES THAT PROVIDE YOU WITH THE SHOT LIST? HOW DOES THAT WORK?
We have an internal shot list that we use the works for us with all of the typical shots you would expect to be taken at a wedding. You will provide us with a list of important family members, & your “VIP” photo moments from the day that are most precious to you. You may also give us a Pinterest board with some photo inspiration for poses or compositions that you like.
DO YOU SHOOT 4K IN VIDEOS?
Because we also film a lot in slow motion, we have found that the sweet spot for the work we do is actually to shoot a combination of 1080p and some 4k footage. The final video gets compressed to 1080p during the editing process.
HOW CAN WE MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL AT YOUR JOB?
What a fantastic question, this is our favorite one! In order to make our job go as efficiently as possible leading up to the wedding day and on the wedding day itself, you are going to need to be working with a wedding coordinator/planner for at least “day – of” coordination. Photography & videography are creative skill sets that are built upon a foundation of logistics that come from your coordinator on your wedding day. If you are still missing a coordinator who is going to shepherd the events between the day and all of your locations, we recommend using any of these rock stars below for your big day!
