These are general questions about booking Apollo Fotografie.
DO ALL YOUR PHOTOGRAPHERS SHOOT IN THE SAME STYLE?
Yes, absolutely! In order to guarantee that every couple receives a cohesive result from you have seen on our site, all the photographers at Apollo Fotografie use the same techniques, cameras, lenses, camera settings, & poses at every event. We employ a lot of natural light in our work which gives your finished set of photos an organic and fine art feeling. The end result will be a mixture of crafted imagery with journalistic embellishments. For the portraits, we will guide you into incredible natural lighting with natural poses that create balanced compositions.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We have a complimentary ACH bank transfer for all payments through Apollo Fotografie. We can also accept credit cards, however it does incur a 3% credit card service fee… don’t blame us, they make us pay them!
WHO PHOTOGRAPHED THE SAMPLE GALLERIES I SAW ON THE WEBSITE & THE PHOTOS ON INSTAGRAM?
The sample images you have seen throughout the website & in the extended galleries we sent out before your consultation were photographed by all of the photographers on the team. Because everyone shoots in the same style & technique & uses the same gear, we can ensure there is consistency between each wedding we photograph collectively. This also ensures if you have two photographers at your wedding, they are shooting in the same style to give you a cohesive collection throughout the day.
WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE & CANCELLATION POLICY?
It is a 50% retainer to save the date & additional retainers are due as we get closer to your event date. If for some reason you need to cancel your wedding, you will lose any retainers you have already paid, but you will be absolved from future payments.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
Generally between 14-90 days before your desired shoot date.
WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS? DO WE HAVE A HOLD ON OUR DATE?
After our first chit-chat together – you have a 7-day soft hold on your date in our calendar & that will also lock you into the current pricing structure & collection structure. After that, we open the date to any other interested couples & you may be subject to any pricing fluctuations that have happened in the meantime.
If all looks good in the proposal, within the next 7 days you will be able to go into the service agreement to sign it, & submit your 50% retainer to lock it all down officially with Apollo Fotografie…. Woohoo!
AFTER THE PICTURES ARE TAKEN, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THEM BACK?
For our elopement/engagement standard turn around for sessions 3 hours and under, you will receive your edited files within 30 business days of your session.
ARE WE THE ONES THAT PROVIDE YOU WITH THE SHOT LIST? HOW DOES THAT WORK?
We have an internal shot list that we use the works for us with all of the typical shots you would expect to be taken at a wedding. You will provide us with a list of important family members, & your “VIP” photo moments from the day that are most precious to you. You may also give us a Pinterest board with some photo inspiration for poses or compositions that you like.

These are questions related specifically for SF City Hall.
DO WE HAVE TO HAVE OUR DATE BOOKED AT CITY HALL BEFORE BOOKING YOU?

WHAT TIME SHOULD WE START COVERAGE?
We recommend starting coverage at least 15-30 minutes prior to your ceremony start time.
HOW MANY GUESTS ARE ALLOWED FOR ROTUNDA WEDDINGS?
For all rotunda weddings, city hall restricts the guests count to 6 people. For civil ceremonies over 6 guests, you will be placed in their "Ceremony Room" near the County Clerk Office.
CAN WE SHOOT ON THE STAIRCASE?
We will do our best to get a clear shot on the staircase if you'd like one, but keep in mind that City Hall is a busy place with lots of people taking photos - and getting married 🙂 so the staircase and other popular areas at City Hall are not always clear of people. That being said, we'll do our best to get the shots you're after!

WHAT IS THE BEST DAY/TIME TO GET MARRIED AT CITY HALL?
Friday afternoons are the busiest times so it is best to avoid that if possible. A general rule of thumb is to bok earlier in the week and as early as possible in the morning slots if you want city hall more to yourself.
WE ARE THINKING OF DOING A PRIVATE CEREMONY AT CITY HALL, DO YOU PREFER THE MAYORS BALCONY OR THE 4TH FLOOR?
The 4th floor has the *most* amazing light in city hall!
